Hypnosis Mic TV Anime Delayed Due to COVID-19

Upcoming TV anime Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- Rhyme Anima has been delayed until October due to the effects of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Based on the hit rap battle franchise, Rhyme Anima was originally scheduled to air in July.

The Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- Official Guide Book, which was scheduled for release on Jun. 25, has also been delayed until Sept. 2.

Meanwhile, stage play adaptation Rule the Stage -track.2- stage play is undergoing preparation for performances in August.

Set in a world where war for territory is waged not with weapons, but words, the Hypnosis Mic franchise features a cast of male voice actors divided into units from separate divisions, the first four being Ikebukuros Buster Bros!!!, Yokohamas Mad Trigger Crew, Shibuyas Fling Posse, and Shinjukus Matenrou. Units for Nagoya, Osaka, and Akabane have also been created.
