Cells at Work! spin-off manga Code Black is getting a TV anime adaptation set to air in January next year!

Code Black follows anthropomorphized cells who must combat the stress of an unhealthy lifestyle, including drinking, smoking, and lack of sleep.

Strike the Bloods Yamamoto Hideo will direct with Liden Films producing. Cast confirmed so far includes: Enoki Junya as Red Blood Cell, Hikasa Yoko as White Blood Cell, and Tsuda Kenjirou as the Narrator.
